The EPFL Energy Center is looking for a Research Manager (80-100%)

Under the supervision of the CEN's Executive Director, contribute to the development of CEN's activities in support of EPFL energy research laboratories. In addition, provide technical and scientific support to the development of projects within the frame of the newly launched Coalition of Green Energy and Storage (CGES).

• Monitor, analyze and promote EPFL energy research results within and outside of EPFL
• Identification research and funding opportunities for the EPFL energy research community
• Form research consortia and provide support to the writing of project proposals in energy research
• Provide scientific and technical support to the development of P2X industry and academic projects within the frame of the Coalition for Green Energy and Storage (CGES)
• Prepare communication elements (articles, newsletters, presentations, graphics, illustrations) on behalf of the EPFL energy research community for the specialized and general public
• Contribute to tasks related to the Energy Center's and EPFL's missions in education, research and innovation

• Phd Degree or equivalent experience in the field of Energy. Experience in P2X is a plus
• Good analytic skills
• Proven experience in project management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Precise, reliable, hands-on and proactive attitude
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Good knowledge of EPFL's organization and ecosystem
• Good knowledge of the Swiss energy sector
